My practice is all about building relationships...

not just dictating goals or expectations

Hey, I’m Adriana.

Therapists approach self-disclosure differently, and I understand that this works for some practices, but it’s not my style. My own practice is based on an authentic and genuine connection between the client and therapist - one which values my real identity and personality rather than being "Therapist Adriana" in session and then someone else outside of it. This allows the interventions to become more impactful, meaningful and real.

my values as a therapist, but more Importantly as a human.

  • Compassion

I believe that every person has a story to tell. It’s my responsibility to create an environment of trust, understanding and compassion which promotes safety and healing.

  • Diversity

I understand that gender, race, religion, sexual orientation and ethnicity can have profound effects on the therapeutic process. To ensure my clients receive the best possible care for their individual needs, I strive to explore these factors openly and thoughtfully.

  • Self-Care

Self -care is an important but often misunderstood concept. Self-care isn’t selfish and is essential for growth and healing. This can mean everything from establishing healthy boundaries with people, attending to medical and emotional needs, and giving yourself permission, to put yourself first.
